ST. PAUL CURSILLO CENTER IS OPEN AND WE LOVE TO SEE OUR FRIENDS!
The National Cursillo Movement developed a process of service to assist all Cursillistas to fulfill the desire to " MAKE A FRIEND, BE A FRIEND AND BRING A FRIEND TO CHRIST". Diocesan/Archdiocesan leaders oversee all aspects of the local Cursillo Movements and provide the immediate service to the Cursillistas. Regional leaders assist, communicate and support the service of these diocesan/archdiocesan Cursillo leaders. National leaders assist, communicate and support the service of these regional leaders
Region VIII Coordinators lead their respective language groups’ Region VIII Secretariats which are comprised of the Lay Directors and Spiritual Advisors of the affiliated diocesan movements in those languages. The purpose of each Region VIII Secretariat is to:

b. Determine the educational needs for those attending Region VIII encounters, meetings and other functions.
c. Encourage the Region Service Teams to promote nationally recognized workshops throughout the region.
d. Provide an atmosphere for open sharing among the various diocesan/archdiocesan Cursillo leaders, i.e. Lay Directors should meet with other Lay Directors and Spiritual Advisors should meet with other Spiritual Advisors.
e. Help ensure proper communication between the Region VIII leaders and the Cursillistas within the diocesan/archdiocesan Cursillo Movements of the region.

The amount of these Region VIII Affiliation Fees may be altered periodically, also by a 2/3-majority vote.
l. Take measures to correct the deficiencies of Region VIII leaders who are not performing their duties, or relieve them of those duties if corrections are not made.
The Region VIII English, Spanish and Vietnamese language Secretariats meet a least twice a year.
In the event that a Lay Director or Spiritual Advisor of an affiliated diocesan/archdiocesan Movement is unable to attend a Region VIII Secretariat meeting, they may send a proxy to assume their duties.

c. The respective language group Region VIII Coordinator should be notified prior to the meeting of any proxies for the upcoming meeting.
